Purify essential oil is a blend from our favorite essential oil company, doTERRA. It's a great replacement for many unhealthy, potentially dangerous products.

With Purify, you can replace:

• Aerosol room deodorizers, linked to asthma and other respiratory issues
• Chemical cleaners, that have been linked to auto-immune disorders and cancer
• Hand sanitizers, which can cause contact dermatitis and antibacterial-resistent germs
• Antibacterial creams, used for cuts, scrapes, or wounds
• Even chemical insect repellants and pesticides!

How can one essential oil do so much? Because of the powerful, and potent oils in this blend.

The Oils in Purify Essential Oil Blend

Purify essential oil blend contains the following six Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils:

1. Lemon: This oil is an antiseptic and antiviral and can be used for anything from the air, to water, to cleaning, to your body. It's also very energizing in its aroma.
2. Lime: This little used oil has many disinfecting and purifying properties, killing bacteria and viruses. (It's also great for removing gunk from surfaces!)
3. Pine: Pine oil is naturally antimicrobial and antiseptic, and is good for anything from polishing wood to healing urinary problems.
4. Citronella: The properties of citronella are antiseptic, antibacterial, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, deodorizing, insecticidal, and sanitizing.
5. Melaleuca: Also known as tea tree oil, melaleuca is well-known for its antibacterial, antifungal, anti-infectious, antiseptic, and antiviral properties. Many don't know it also supports the immune system and heart function.
6. Cilantro: Not only is cilantro antibacterial, it's also a mood elevator and helps with minor skin problems, like bites and stings.

How to Use Purify Essential Oil

Purify is best used for cleaning, as well as support of your family's health. This is one oil you should not take internally, but you can use it in the following ways:

Aromatically - Can be diffused in the air or inhaled directly.
Topically - Can be applied directly to the skin or within a carrier oil, such as coconut oil, for young or sensitive skin. Start with one drop to 1-3 tsp of carrier oil and increase as needed.
Sensitive - "Neat" means you can generally apply the oil without any dilution, directly to the skin. Those with sensitive skin should do a patch test or dilute before use.

Precautions: Repeated or excessive use can result in a skin reaction or sensitization. Those with sensitive skin should always test first or dilute for topical application.

Purify Essential Oil for Household Use

Purify can be added to a vinegar solution and used for cleaning surfaces, including toilets, counters, floors, etc. It can be added to olive oil and used for dusting. It can also be added to dish water, laundry loads or on damp clothes before going into the dryer, added to distilled water in a spray bottle (glass or metal preferred for long-term storage) for use as a room deodorizer, dropped onto cotton balls and added to vents or used around entry ways for insect repellant, or dropped on a cloth and tied near a fan to deodorize the room.

Using Purify Aromatically

Drop Purify essential oil on your pillowcases or towels. Add a drop to a cotton ball and place in the vent of your car on a long drive. Mix several drops with distilled water and use as a spray on furniture, in the air, on carpets, or in closets to purify the air. If you're dealing with a flu or cold, you could even just inhale the aroma directly from the bottle.

Using Purify Topically

Add 3-4 drops of coconut oil to 1-2 drops of Purify and massage into the soles of your feet, over your chest, or into your hands as a sanitizer. Massage it into the reflex points of your ears, feet, or temples. Use topically for wounds or cuts. Be sure to clean your home with it during cold and flu season for a multi-purpose use.
