Sustainable Baby Steps is an informational site. It is here to provide readers with valuable information and inspiration on going green free from any costs to use this site, other than the costs of the products we offer or promote.

I accept advertising on this site in the form of newsletter sponsors, in-line text ads and affiliate links (you can read more about these last two at the bottom of the page).

These sponsors and ads support the continuation of this website by bringing in value and help to keep this valuable information we offer available to readers.

I'm very commited to bringing readers the best information on sustainability possible and this commitment extends to my advertising policy.

Sustainable Baby Steps is a website, not a blog. Its organized layout creates more page views and because it's not just a "feed", no info gets pushed down and lost. All pages continue to rank high and be shared widely and readers are substantially more engaged.

As of January 31, 2013 Sustainable Baby Steps is showing an average 20+% growth in the past several months, and currently shows:

The majority of readers are female, and have families with growing or grown children. Traffic sources include referrals from other websites and blogs, social media sites, search engines and the mysterious "other".

Advertising Options

Advertisers have three ways to work with us:

• Newsletter sponsors: Send your approved information out in one of our regular newsletters to over 3,200 readers. Your banner, web link, and one paragraph of information is included at the bottom of each newsletter and your banner also placed within the sidebar.
• Site/Page Sponsors: Your approved banner is placed in the sidebar of our website (highlighted on nearly every page) or on the page or pages of your choice to be seen by thousands of visitors each day for a minimum of 30 days.
• In-text links: Your approved URL is added as a text link within the body of a page (not the homepage or any of main topic pages linked to the left). It is double-underlined to notify readers of its affiliation (as required by the FTC) and can remain for a minimum of 30 days.

We do not accept guest posts in exchange for links.

Because of our selective process in approving advertisers, please email us using the form below and include the URL to be approved, any banner or additional info necessary for the placement of your ad (where you'd like it placed, any text needed, etc), and we will reply back within 1-5 business days with a price quote or notification of approval.

Amazon affiliate links are any links that take you to the Amazon.com website. Other affiliate links are indicated by the double-underline of that link. From these links, I will receive a small commission at no additional cost to you of anything you purchase - this allows us ot continue to offer quality content on this site. Other links are paid for by the advertiser and we receive no additional commissions if you click or purchase from them.

Other affiliates found on our site are usually marked by a note (such as "our affiliate" or a * or a double underline).
